Can there be total objectivity of truth or is it a myth? I believe total objectivity is something I have never encountered and I bet neither have you. Interpretations get skewed and often twisted because of our own biases, filters, and experiences. Just ask me about the New England Patriots. Since I am a lifelong Patriots living in Florida in Dolphin’s country. I see the Patriot teams and players as the shining light on the hill but my neighbors’ think they are the spawns of the devils.
We all have biases and filters our interpretations of the most simple thing to the most profound things facing the planet. If we do not understand our own clouded biases and filters we may never see the truth in its fullness. Can we? Maybe, it is emotionally difficult but I believe our ability to listen without judging can start to get us there.
